FAQs

Is Wednesday Health a primary care practice?

Yes—comprehensive primary care with a focus on prevention and longevity. Your membership includes sick and well visits, an annual physical exam, prescription management, wearable data analysis, lab analysis, and body composition analysis.

How is Wednesday Health different from a traditional primary care clinic?

Our physicians have practiced on both sides of the healthcare system-inside the hospital and outside of it. That experience changes the way we see medicine. It allows us to anticipate complications, navigate complex situations, and care for patients with a perspective that extends far beyond the typical outpatient practice. Wednesday Health is also built around continuity and long-term involvement. Rather than addressing concerns only as they arise, we take a proactive approach—tracking health over time, identifying meaningful changes early, and adjusting care thoughtfully as needs evolve.

What does a membership include?

Ongoing access to your care team, assessments, prevention, and coordinated nutrition, fitness, and specialty care—organized as one evolving plan.

Do you accept insurance?

We don't bill insurance—membership lets us spend more time on prevention and stay involved. We provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement when applicable.

Are labs included in membership?

Labs aren't included in membership, but we provide documentation for your insurance so you can seek reimbursement.

Do you accept HSA and FSA?

Yes.

How quickly can I reach my physician?

Members have direct access to their care team, with physician responses typically within 24 hours.

Can I see my doctor virtually?

Yes—you can see your doctor virtually.

What should I do with my health insurance?

We highly recommend keeping your health insurance—you'll want it for other providers, emergency care, and prescriptions.

How do nutrition and fitness fit into medical care?

Both are integrated into your care plan and guided by your physician.

Can I work with a trainer or nutritionist more often than provided?

Every member gets a complimentary visit with our trainer and nutritionist. Additional sessions can be arranged by package. Pricing: 6 sessions for $900, or 10 for $1,400.

Do you coordinate with specialists outside Wednesday Health?

Yes. We work with top NYC specialists and manage referrals and follow-through so care stays integrated.

Is Wednesday Health right for people who already feel healthy?

Often, yes. Many feel well but want deeper insight, earlier warning, and a long-term plan for function and independence.

Is this a longevity or biohacking clinic?

We're an evidence-based medical practice. Longevity comes from continuity, early intervention, and clinical judgment—not trends or experiments.

What is the cancellation policy?

Membership runs on a six-month commitment, so you're free to cancel anytime after your first six months.

Do you have family discounts?

Yes—give us a call and we'll walk you through it.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes—and if we can't see you in person, we'll see you virtually.

What if I'm on a GLP-1?

We're likely a great fit. With a nutritionist, a board-certified obesity medicine physician, and our own gym, we support you from every angle—plus we can get your GLP-1 medications at significant discounts.

I've been struggling mentally and nothing has worked. Can you help?

We understand—and you have options here. We're certified to provide ketamine therapy on-site, paired with our mental health specialist to guide you. The care is included in membership; we only ask you to pay for what it costs us to provide the six ketamine infusions. We also offer Spravato.
